We are associated with the local industrial and circular ecosystem on the Øra industrial area. Via local gas pipes, we buy gas for drying processes that require high temperatures, high-pressure steam from waste incineration plants for energy production, and scrap iron for our chemical processes. Annually, we use over 200,000 tonnes of waste and other by-products from various businesses on Øra. In addition, we contribute close to 120,000 tonnes of iron sulphate from our production operations as a by-product, which is used to clean sewage for around 5 million people in Scandinavia.
