Day Mechanic

As a Mechanic, you will be part of the mechanical maintenance team and work mainly in a day shift.
You ensure that our installations operate safely, reliably and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

• Carrying out mechanical maintenance works across the plant
• Replacing and installing pumps, piping and mechanical components
• Performing heavy mechanical work: working with chains, hoists, lifting equipment and alignment
• Building and assembling steel constructions
• Performing construction welding
• Working both on site and in the workshop
• Very occasionally, you may be asked to replace a colleague in shift work, but day work is the standard

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands‑on technical work and take pride in solid industrial craftsmanship.

You know your trade — and you do it safely.

• You are fluent in Dutch (written and oral)
• You hold an A2 technical degree (or equivalent experience)
• Strong technical insight is one of your key strengths
• You have experience with heavy mechanical work in an industrial environment
• You are able to perform construction welding (a welding test is part of the selection process)
• You work accurately, think ahead and take responsibility
• You value stability, teamwork and long‑term cooperation
