KRONOS is a global player in the production of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), a white pigment with strong covering power. TiO2 is found in coatings and plastics but also in inks, paper, and cosmetics. It makes products whiter and adds shine. You could say we literally give color to the world. Annually, we produce around 90,000 tons of TiO2 here in Ghent. To achieve this, our factory operates 24/7, and we rely on the assistance of a large Maintenance team.

About the job

Due to the nature of our production process, our facilities are very susceptible to wear and tear, requiring intensive maintenance. Planning and executing these maintenance works as efficiently, safely, and structured as possible will be your responsibility!

Here's an overview of your tasks:

• Creating and monitoring maintenance schedules (weekly, projects, and shutdowns).
• Acting as a liaison between Kronos Europe and third-party firms. This involves tasks such as conducting safety tests for third-party firms and new maintenance colleagues.
• Performing general support tasks, including preparing reports (KPIs), creating preventive maintenance plans, managing work orders, and ordering equipment like cranes.

About you

You already have experience in a similar role, but to quickly get up to speed, we'd also like to see the following in your profile:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field.
• Your strong organizational talent and resilience enable you to maintain an overview at all times and know exactly where adjustments may be needed.
• You have experience with production facilities and mechanics; knowledge of electrical maintenance is a plus.
• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good command of English.
• You possess a healthy dose of assertiveness.
• You have insight into safety issues and risk assessment.
