Titania AS, Hauge in Dalane in Rogaland, mines approximately 8 million tonnes of ore and side rocks annually. Raw materials for the global pigment industry are produced from this. We are one of the country's largest mining operations and among the world's largest ilmenite mines. The ore deposit has sufficient resources for several generations of operation. The mine/open pit is located at Tellenes in Sokndal. We have processing plants in Hommedal (part of the Tellenes area) and at our drying plant in Jøssingfjord.

Our production line is complex, with many different steps to extract ore, crush it and process it further to separate ilmenite from the ore. All steps in the process must be carried out with utmost precision so that the ilmenite can be delivered in accordance with the needs of the pigment industry.

Duties and Responsibility

• The position is project planner and constructer who will calculate, design and lead projects. Also the position is to be project leader through all stage in Accolade.
• Responsible for control and check on all equipment for mass transportation and cranes. This requires a certification after 3 years of practice with these equipment’s.
• Construction and calculation of mechanical equipment.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor
• Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Certification, G10, G11 (RX) and MX Norwegian Certification INC
• Driver’s license
