Titania AS, Hauge in Dalane in Rogaland, mines approximately 8 million tonnes of ore and side rocks annually. Raw materials for the global pigment industry are produced from this. We are one of the country's largest mining operations and among the world's largest ilmenite mines. The ore deposit has sufficient resources for several generations of operation. The company has approx. 240 employees and is owned by Kronos Worldwide, which is a leading producer of titanium dioxide with production units in Norway, Germany, Belgium, the USA and Canada. The mine/open pit is located at Tellenes in Sokndal. We have processing plants in Hommedal (part of the Tellenes area) and at our drying plant in Jøssingfjord.

Our production line is complex, with many different steps to extract ore, crush it and process it further to separate ilmenite from the ore. All steps in the process must be carried out with utmost precision so that the ilmenite can be delivered in accordance with the needs of the pigment industry.
We are looking for an Operator to join our Kronos team at Titania AS

Duties and Responsibility

• Contribute to achieve the company's production target 
• Operate trucks
• Perform other tasks related to the open pit/mine/facility.
• Focus on health, safety and environment

Education and Experience

• Certificate/Diploma as a truck driver
• Drivers license kl.BC 
• YSK, other certificates
• Experience from work within transportation
• Language skills - English and Norwegian (oral/writing)
