Ore Dressing Production Coordinator

Responsibilities and tasks
The position is part of the staff of the recovery department and reports to Supervisor Ore Dressing Production. 
Daily tasks will mainly be linked to coordination and (professional) management of operations in close cooperation with the Supervisor.

Normal working hours are mainly at 7.00 – 15.00, Monday – Friday and includes flexible working hours.

Tasks:
• Ensure and improve operations by systematic follow-up and optimization of products, processes and equipment
• Participation/management of improvements in the process
• Be a driving force to achieve the company's strategic goals
• Ensure and develop comprehensive process understanding by focusing on accountability, training and continuous improvement
• Identify and analyze the root causes of operational interruptions/disturbances and quality variations
• Interact with various subject areas, area managers, shift managers and operations manager.

Competence
• Certificate in process/chemistry, and technical school in process engineering. Applicants with professional certificates and general study skills can be assessed and must be willing to take further education within the field 
• Experience in process/production and/or management experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of and comfortable with the use of computer tools for calculation, reporting and presentation
• Good knowledge of Norwegian and English - written and spoken
• Driver's license kl B.
