Summary

Titania AS, Hauge in Dalane in Rogaland, mines approximately 8 million tonnes of ore and side rocks annually. Raw materials for the global pigment industry are produced from this. We are one of the country's largest mining operations and among the world's largest ilmenite mines. The ore deposit has sufficient resources for several generations of operation. The company has approx. 240 employees and is owned by Kronos Worldwide, which is a leading producer of titanium dioxide with production units in Norway, Germany, Belgium, the USA and Canada. Duties and Responsibility

Work with development- and improvement work in the entire value chain at TIA from mine to final product.

• Plan and conduct tests, analyces in various projects
• Support daily operations in both mine and ore dressing
• Initiate new proposals and possibilities for improvement and development projects
• Project management
• Participate actively in planning, sampling, analycing, interpretation and recommendations for improvement
• Contact with suppliers for new technology, universities, R&D institutes, authorities
• Provide report and documentation of projects
• Cooperate with other departments

Education and Experience

• Master degree or PhD in Mineral processing or Resource geology
• Work experience
• Drivers licence
• Norwegian and English fluent, both writing and oral
• Knowledge of Norwegian mining industry
