As part of succession planning at the Leverkusen plant, we are looking for the following for the production plants Chloride Plant and Finished Products and Packaging at the earliest possible date

 

Chemical technicians (m/f/d)

in a fully continuous shift

Summary

  • Operation of assigned production systems/apparatus “on site” and in the control center while maintaining the specified quality parameters in connection with the detection, elimination and reporting of faults in the process engineering sequence.
  • Monitoring and operating the relevant equipment and systems on the basis of valid work instructions and in accordance with the specifications of the respective operational superiors in automatic and manual operation, including in the control center
  • Preparation of subsystems or components for repair or maintenance work
  • Carrying out supply and disposal, start-up and shut-down processes, loading, emptying and cleaning
  • Carrying out the necessary operational analyses
  • Compliance with occupational safety and legal requirements when carrying out the work

Education and Experience

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a chemical technician (m/f/d)
  • First professional experience also in dealing with process control systems
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Good written and spoken German
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability and initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure, also physically
  • Ability to work in a fully continuous shift and:
    • Suitability for masks and respiratory protection
    • Suitability for measuring and control activities
