Duties and Responsibility
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for projects to be carried out;
- Write applications for project funding (RA);
- Plan and execute project tasks;
- Perform required engineering calculations;
- Make concept sketches;
- Sign and seal drawings according to OIQ standards;
- Prepare specifications and tenders for the purchase of equipment and services;
- Analysis of technical and commercial bids;
- Prepare purchase requisitions;
- Supervise the work of contractors on site;
- Conducting safety audits on site;
- Prepare project progress reports;
- Organize project meetings and prepare minutes;
- Support the maintenance group in continuous improvement;
- Identify cost reduction projects related to equipment reliability, identifying return on investment amounts.
- Be aware of the KRONOS values and apply them in his daily tasks:
o Responsible management;
o Food safety (ISO 22000);
o Health and safety of KRONOS staff and the community.
Education and Experience
Academic background and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering or equivalent;
- 5 years of relevant experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is an asset.
Technical skills required
- Ability to use the following software
o MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
o SAP (Hana).

- Asset: Knowledge of deficiency analysis tools (FMEA, Kaizen, 5P, etc.)
