We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join the maintenance team at KRONOS.
You will report to the Chloride Maintenance Superintendent.

 

 

Required Education and Experience


•    Diploma in mechanical engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or equivalent;
•    Experience in project and personnel management in an industrial setting;
•    Five years of relevant experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is an asset.

Proficiency with the following software:
•    Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
•    SAP MTS (Hana);
•    MS Project.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

•    Support the maintenance team with various tasks;
•    Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance and equipment refurbishment projects;
•    Prepare specifications and calls for tenders for the purchase of parts and services;
•    Manage inventory parts and source discontinued components;
•    Perform supplier inspections during external repairs;
•    Analyze technical and commercial bids;
•    Prepare purchase requisitions;
•    Supervise on-site work;
•    Conduct safety audits on work sites;
•    Identify cost reduction projects related to equipment reliability, including ROI estimates;
•    Fill in for maintenance foremen when needed;
•    Train unionized employees on CMMS software;
•    Supervise work under your responsibility during plant shutdowns;
•    Demonstrate leadership in managing health, safety, and environmental aspects.

 

Schedule


•    Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
