Duties and responsabilities
- Install, repair and replace in-plant adduction equipment and heat exchange systems including steam bundles, unit heaters, shell-and-tube exchangers, spirals, etc;
- Fabricate new metal, plastic, fiberglass, polymer and steel-polymer lined piping;
- Diagnose sources of problems in heating systems by manipulating valves and instruments related to pipe lines;
- Read plans and specifications to determine lengths/quantities of materials required;
- Comply with company health and safety standards, including wearing appropriate protective equipment (clothing and respiratory).
Education, experience and competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent and DEP in plumbing and heating;
- Plumber's certificate of qualification (construction or non-construction);
- Minimum 5 years' experience (2 years in heavy industry or chemical industry an asset);
- Natural gas burner systems license (an asset);
- Provide work of high quality;
